Easy Creamed Spinach

From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito

This easy creamed spinach is the best side dish to complement just about any meal that you can think of.

It's one of those recipes that can be made for anything from a casual dinner at home to important holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving.

This is a classic that is sure to be hit no matter what the occasion and I've made this for a lot of them with rave reviews.

You know the kind of creamed spinach that you get when you order it at an expensive steak house? Well, this reminds me exactly of that.

It's incredibly creamy and delicious. Not to mention its super easy to make, too. I can whip this up and have it on the table in practically no time.

Thats why I usually keep some frozen spinach on hand at all times. You never know when you'll need to make a quick side dish on the fly.

I hope you give this one a try. If you do, I know you'll love it just as much as my family and I do.

Fast. Simple. Delicious.

Easy Creamed Spinach Variations

I like this spinach recipe made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you'd like to.

  • Spinach- Fresh spinach can be used here, too. You’ll need about 2-2.5 lbs . Chop it or leave it whole but I’d suggest chopping it. Boil a pot of water and add the spinach in for about a minute or two. Then just rinse the spinach under cold water and wring out as much water as you can. After that, follow the recipe as it’s listed below.
