Roasted Garlic Parmesan Broccoli
From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito
This roasted garlic parmesan broccoli is one of my absolute favorite side dish recipes.

We went through a phase were this was the only vegetable my family would eat. It became kind of an obsession. That sounds a bit dramatic but it's very true.
Now when I make this, no one is allowed to start picking at it off the baking sheet because they never stop and wind up eating the whole thing.

Not only do I absolutely love to eat this side dish, but I also really like to make it, too. Its so easy to put together and requires very little effort.
No fuss recipes like this that are a hit with the whole family are lifesavers for me on busy weeknights when Im trying to decide whats for dinner.

This recipe is good enough to make for any holiday like Christmas or Thanksgiving and easy enough to throw together for a casual family dinner at home.
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you'll love it just as much as my family and I do.

Roasted Garlic Parmesan Broccoli Variations
I love this recipe just as it is but here are some ways to change it up if you'd like to.

- Broccoli- Heads of broccoli or broccoli florets can both be used for this recipe.
- Parmesan Cheese-Freshly grated parmesa cheese is the best for this recipe. As soon as it hits the warm broccoli, it starts to melt right into it. If you dont want to use fresh parmesan cheese of the block, powdered parmesan cheese would work, too.

Roasted garlic Parmesan broccoli ingredients

- 2 Broccoli Heads cleaned, dried well and cut into florets
- Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder
- Olive oil
- Parmesan cheese
- Lemon Juice
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
First, rinse and dry the broccoli heads very well. Then, cut them up into floret and try to keep them as equal in size as you can so they cook evenly. If you're using florets, skip this step.

Next, place them into a medium- large sized bowl.

Now, drizzle them in olive oil and season them with salt, pepper and garlic powder and mix everything together until it is evenly combined.

Next, place the broccoli down in a single layer on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Then, remove them form the oven and drizzle them with freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Now, grate the parmesan cheese over the warm broccoli.

Finally, toss the broccoli so that it's evenly coated in the lemon juice and parmesan cheese. Serve warm and enjoy!
