Taco Lasagna Variations
I like this recipe made just as it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you'd like to.
- Meat- ground turkey or chicken would work here
- Cheese-Any kind of shredded cheese, or shredded cheese blend would be ok to use here. Just be sure to shred the cheese yourself because its going to melt way better that way.
- Beans- Black or kidney beans would both be great choices for this recipe.
- Spicy- To add a little heat to this recipe, try using Hot & Spicy taco seasoning packets or a spicier cheese like pepper jack.

Easy Taco Lasagna Ingredients

- Flour tortillas
- Ground beef
- Taco seasoning packets
- Black Beans, rinsed & drained
- Cheddar Cheese, hand shredded
- .Toppings- Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and sour cream (optional)
Instructions:
First, make the ground beef according to the directions on the back of the taco seasoning packet but use two packets for one and a half pounds of ground beef.

Now, spray a 9” x 13” baking dish with cooking spray and put down a single layer of tortillas. If you're using small instead of medium sized tortillas, you can rip one in half to fill in the gaps.

Next add half of the beans and spread it evenly over the tortillas.

Then, add half of the seasoned ground beef.

Then, top that with about half of the shredded cheese.

After that, do another layer of tortillas, seasoned beef, beans and cheese.

Finish the top and final layer with tortillas and the rest of the shredded cheese.

Place it in the oven for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Finally let it cool slightly before slicing and serving. Add whatever toppings you’d like and enjoy!

The recipe looks yummy, but you leave out the quantities for the ingredients. How much meat? A pound? How much cheese? A cup? ETC! Crap shoot.
