How To Make It
Heres how to make this delicious dinner. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card belwo.
First, make the ground beef according to the directions on the back of the taco seasoning packet but use two packets for one and a half pounds of ground beef. Spray a 9” x 13” baking dish with cooking spray and put down a single layer of tortillas.
NOTE: If you're using small instead of medium sized tortillas, you can rip one in half to fill in the gaps.

Next, add half of the beans and spread it evenly over the tortillas. Add half of the seasoned ground beef and top with half of the shredded cheese After that, do another layer of tortillas, seasoned beef, beans and cheese.
PRO TIP: Be sure to shred the cheese yourself and avoid the pre shredded stuff that comes in a bag. It will melt much better that way.

Finish the top and final layer with tortillas and the rest of the shredded cheese. Place it into the center rack of the oven for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Finally let it cool for 5 minutes, serve and enjoy!
PRO TIP: Let it rest to allow the center to settle and firm up. This will make it easier to serve.

What Should I Serve This With?
This recipe goes great with sour cream, guacamole and salsa. You can even add chopped tomatoes, diced onion, shredded lettuce and sliced green olives as a topping after its cooked.
Can I Use Corn Tortillas?
Yes, you absolutely can use corn tortillas instead of flour if you prefer.
Storage
Let the taco lasagna cool completely and place it into a food safe, air tight container. It will last in the fridge for up to three days.

Could you use refried beans instead of kidney or black beans.
Also could you put Frito Twists for extra crunch.

The recipe looks yummy, but you leave out the quantities for the ingredients. How much meat? A pound? How much cheese? A cup? ETC! Crap shoot.
