Jalapeño popper crescent rolls might just be your new favorite appetizer or snack. If you’re a fan of traditional jalapeño poppers, you are going to absolutely love them. Who wouldn’t like a warm, cheesy, spicy filling wrapped in a flakey buttery crust? Make sure to double or even triple this recipe if you’re making this for a crowd because it’s going to go fast.
You also don’t necessarily need to have a high heat tolerance to enjoy these. They’re not too spicy at all. Plus you can turn down the dial on the heat if you’d like to also. Using premade crescent roll dough is such a time saving shortcut here, too. So these can be ready in no time with minimal effort.

How To Make It
Heres how to make these delicious jalapeno popper crescent rolls. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card below.
Preheat the oven to 375°
First, in a medium sized bowl, combine the shredded cheese, diced chilies, cream cheese, salt pepper and garlic powder in a medium sized bowl. Open the crescent rolls and flatten them out with a rolling pin. Spread the cream cheese filling all over the surface of the crescent rolls.
PRO TIP: Be sure to shred the cheese yourself and avoid the pre shredded stuff that comes in a bag. It will melt much better that way.

Next, jelly roll it up long ways and using a serrated knife, slice them into about 1.5 inch rounds. Place them onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet or baking dish facing up. Brush the tops with melted butter and place them into the center rack of the oven for about 20 minutes or until they are nice and golden brown. Let them rest for 5 minutes, serve and enjoy!
PRO TIP: Be sure to use a serrated knife to cut the crescent rolls to slice effortlessly and avoid squishing them down.
PRO TIP: Let them cool for 5 minutes for the center to settle. They will be easier to eat.

Can A Protein Be Added?
Yes, feel free to mix in cooked and crumbled bacon or shredded rotisserie chicken into the cream cheese mixture.
Storage
Let the crescent rolls cool completely and place them into a food safe, air tight container. They will last in the fridge for up to three days.
