This caramel apple dump cake really is the perfect fall dessert.

Its just the right combination of flavors to hit the spot once the cool weather starts to roll in. Anything with pumpkin or apples are right up my alley.
Luckily for me, my family feels the same way. So we can happily enjoy all of our favorite fall flavors together,

As much as I love apple desserts, they can be a pain in the butt to make. At least, thats how I look at them
Maybe thats because Im not a great baker. I've admitted that many times but It's true. Baking was never my strong suit.
Any dessert recipe that I make needs to be super easy and low effort, too.

Thats why I just love this dump cake recipe so much. The name says it all!
All thats required on my part is to literally dump everything into the baking dish and the work on my part is done. Using premade ingredients like boxed cake mix and canned apple pie filling are huge shortcuts here.

Its almost hard to believe how great this cake comes out compared to how little needs to be done to put it together.
This dump cake recipe has been served at everything from holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas to casual dessert at home. Its incredibly versitile like that and always a huge hit.

Everyone loves when I serve this dessert and there are never any leftovers.
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you'll love it just as much as my family and I do.

Caramel Apple Dump Cake Ingredients

- Apple pie filling
- Caramel sauce
- Spice cake mix
- Butter slides into small squares
- Chopped pecans
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
First, spray a 9 x 13” baking dish with cooking spray and add in the apple pie filing. Spread it out evenly.

Then, evenly pour the caramel sauce over the apples. I find it easier to pour if you pop it into the microwave for a few seconds to let it warm up a bit.

Now, add the boxed cake mix on top. Spread it over the top of the apples and caramel being careful not to disturb the apples and caramel on the bottom.

After that, evenly distribute the slices of butter on top of the cake mix.

Then sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly on top.

Next, bake it in the oven at 350° for about 50 minutes.

Finally let it cool slightly and serve with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy.
