Hot Crab Dip
From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito
This hot crab dip is sure to be the star of the show at your next party or family get together.

I tend to make this a lot in the spring and summer months.
Theres just something about the warm weather that makes me crave seafood and this dip always hits the spot.
Not to worry, though. This can be made and enjoyed all year round, too.

As a matter of fact, I've actually served this as a holiday appetizer for Christmas and Thanksgiving before.
It’s also made its way onto my game day watch party menus, too.
Whenever I serve this, it’s always a huge hit. My family and friends absolutely love it.

It’s super easy to make, too. Especially when using the canned lump crab meat. What a convenience.
I can throw this recipe together in no time and have it on the table in less than 30 minutes.

Delicious recipes like this that are easy to put together are right up my alley.
I hope you give this one a try. If you do, I know that you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do.

Hot Crab Dip Variations
I like this recipe exactly the way it is but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Crab Meat- lump is the best for this recipe but any kind of crab meat will do here. If you’d like to get fresh crab meat that’s even better!
- Cheese- Cheddar was used here but any kind of cheese would do just fine so choose your favorite.

- Seasoning- Crab and Old Bay go hand in hand, in my opinion but make this recipe your own and add whatever additional seasonings you’d like to.
- Dippers- Choose a sturdy chip that can handle the weight of this chunky dip like Wheat Thins or Bagel Chips.
