Cinnamon Roll Cake
From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito
This super easy to make cinnamon roll cake provides all the delicious flavors of a cinnamon roll with way less work.

My kids absolutely love cinnamon rolls but making them from scratch can be such a hassle. I usually just wind up skipping making them all together or buying the premade kind in a tube.
Luckily I found this cake and it instantly became one of their favorites. They ask me to make this for them all the time now.

It’s kind of a cross between “made from scratch” and premade.
Using boxed cake mix is alone is a huge short cut. Not to mention, you get to skip over rolling each cinnamon roll by hand.

This is a quick and super easy to make dessert that’s sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Bring it to potlucks, holidays, parties or any get together where there’s going to be people with a sweet tooth.

This is sure to be a huge hit!
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love this just as much as my family and I do.

Cinnamon Roll Cake Variations
I love this cake recipe made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Cake Mix- If you prefer to use a homemade yellow cake recipe for this recipe please do so.
- Butter- Melting the butter first will make the cinnamon sugar mixture easier to swirl but it will also settle it into the cake more instead of keeping it on the top. It’s up to you how you prefer it.
- Glaze- Add about 4 oz of softened cream cheese to thicken the glaze at the end if you’d like to.
