Spanakopita Dip
From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito
Spanakopita dip is an easy and delicious dip that is guaranteed to be a hit at your next party.

We’re lucky enough to have a wonderful variety of Greek and Mediterranean food options where I live here in New Jersey.
The food is always so good and we order spanakopita almost every time we go. It’s an appetizer staple for sure.
The spinach, feta and fresh lemon along with the other simple ingredients all go together so well.

Making traditional spanakopita can be a bit of a hassle. It’s definitely time consuming to fold the spinach and feta filling into triangles one after another.
Putting the ingredients into dip form and serving it with pita chips was an absolute game changer.

My family and friends went absolutely crazy for this. The whole thing was devoured in no time.
I’ve made this for so many family parties and get togethers and it’s always a huge hit.
This is the perfect appetizers for everything from holiday parties to casual get togethers.

We’ve even served this for many football Sundays and taken it to countless parties. Everyone just loves this so much.
I hope you give this one a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and friends do.

Spanakopita Dip Variations
I like this dip recipe made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Spinach- fresh spinach can be used here. Just chop it, and add it to a hot skillet with a little oil to cook it down.
- Cheese- ricotta cheese can be used instead of cream cheese.
- Spice- Add some hot pepper flakes to make this dip a little spicy.
