3 Ingredient Chili Dip

From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito

You will not believe how incredibly delicious this 3 ingredient chili dip is.

It's actually kinda crazy that this magic can be made by using so few ingredients. Not only is this dip made using pantry staples, but its super easy to put together, too.

Most of us have had the pleasure of eating this before at some point or another. Most likely at a party or get together where people were swarmed around it. I remember the first time I had this and immediately asked for the recipe.

We've been making this dip for decades now and it never ever gets old. It really is a tried and true recipe that is always a guaranteed hit.

This dip recipe has been served at countless family parties, get togethers and even a few holidays. Forget about Football Sundays. There hasn't bee a appetizer invented thats better than this for watching a football game.

Sometimes simple is best and this recipe is a wonderful example of that. The canned chili is a huge time saver but if you've got some leftover chili, this would be a great use for it, too.

Make this for your next party and watch as the serving dish gets scraped completely clean.

I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you'll love it just as much as my family and I do.

3 Ingredient Chili Dip Variations

I like this chili dip made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you'd like to.

  • Chili- Use any brand of chili that you'd like or your favorite homemade recipe. I have a great Homemade Chili recipe if you need one. Also, I do think this dip tastes better using the chili with the beans, but you can use a chili without beans if you'd prefer.
  • Cheese- Any kid of cheese would be ok to use here so choose your favorite. Just be sure to shred the cheese yourself because it will melt must better that way.

3 Ingredient Chili Dip Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese
  • Hormel Chili with the Beans
  • Cheddar Cheese, Hand Shredded

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

First, in a small baking dish, add the cream cheese and spread it evenly over the bottom.

Now, add the can of chili and spread that evenly over the cream cheese.

Next, sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top of the chili.

Now, cover it and place it into the center rack of the oven for about 20 minutes. If you like the cheese less creamy and more kind of crispy bake it uncovered. It’s totally up to you.

Finally, let it cool slightly, garnish with parsley (optional) and serve hot with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
