From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito

My kids went completely crazy over this chocolate chip cookie delight. With layers of chocolate chip cookie dough, pudding, cool whip and chocolate chips I knew it would be a smash hit. How could it not be? The cookie dough is just slightly undercooked in this recipe so it stays soft even after refrigerating. Theres nothing better than a soft chocolate chip cookie.
I love the dough combined with the cool pudding. It’s just all so perfect together. This dessert was absolutely incredible and super easy to make, too. Recipes like this are right up my alley. My family already asked me to make this for our next party and I can’t wait.

Preheat the oven to 350°
First, push the cookie dough down into a 9 x 13” greased baking dish. Place it into the center rack of the oven for 25 minutes. Let it cool completely. In a medium sized bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. Fold in half of the cool whip and chocolate chips and smooth the mixture over the top of the cookie dough.
PRO TIP: Slightly under bake the cookie for a soft and chewy texture.

Next, in a large bowl, add both of the pudding boxes and milk. Whisk them together until the pudding thickens then spread it over the top of the cream cheese and cool whip layer. Top with the rest of the cool whip and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Place in into the refrigerator to set for at least 3 house. Serve and enjoy!
PRO TIP: Don't skip the refrigeration step. The dessert needs time to settle.

Can This Be Made Ahead Of Time?
Yes! It’s best to let all of those flavors settle in the fridge for a few house before serving. So, feel free to make it ahead of your event.
Storage
Place the cookie delight into a food safe air tight container. It will last in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Does the baked cookie dough have to cool before the cream cheese and pudding layers are added?
