Crispy Fried Shrimp

Crispy fried shrimp is a recipe that never fails to impress your guests.

Whether you’re making these for an appetizer, snack or main course, it’s always a guaranteed hit.
They look absolutely beautiful and like they look a lot of effort to make but they're actually really easy!
I’ve served this for so many events from holidays like Christmas and birthday celebrations to casual dinners at home.

We’re even made this as an appetizer for the big game and everyone just loved them.
The shrimp are perfectly cooked inside the crispy breadcrumbs surrounding them.
They are absolutely delicious served alone side some homemade tartare sauce. Fresh lemon and even marinara sauce for dunking are great options, too.

Whenever I serve these I always get lots of compliments and there are never any leftovers.
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and friends do.

Crispy Fried Shrimp Variations
I like this recipe for fried shrimp made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Shrimp- use any size shrimp that you’d like to. Just be sure to keep an eye on them while cooking. Smaller shrimp will cook up faster.
- Tails- I like to keep the tails on when frying larger shrimp. They provide a nice handle to hold onto. If you’re making smaller, popcorn style shrimp, feel free to remove the tail.
- Air Fry- air frying the shrimp can be done. It won’t be the same end result but if you’d like to do it, here’s how. Set the air fryer to 390° and spray the basked with cooking spray before laying the shrimp down. Spray the top with a little cooking oil and let the shrimp cook for 5 minutes. Flip them and cook them for an additional 5 minutes.
- Oil- Fry the shrimp in vegetable, canola or peanut oil.
