Easy English Muffin Pizzas

From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito

These easy English muffin pizzas were the very first recipe that I ever made when I was a kid.

Our 1st grade teacher had the whole class make this recipe as a little cooking lesson.

I’ve been making them ever since.

As a matter of fact, I now make them with my own kids and they love them, too.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that they’re so easy that even a kid could do it.

And easy recipes like this are right up my alley.

You could eat these for a quick snack, lunch or even dinner.

Just throw them together in no time and they’re done in about 10 minutes.

These easy English muffin pizzas are such a classic childhood recipe.

I know if you try them that they’ll be an instant hit in your family, too.

Fast. Simple. Delicious.

Did you know that I have a cookbook called Fast Simple Delicious? It’s 60 no fuss, no fail comfort food recipes perfect for busy weekday dinners.

First, break the English muffins in half by using either your fingers or a fork and lightly toast them.

Next, add some tomato sauce to each top of the english muffin.

Now add some shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Also, add some pepperoni slices and additional toppings if you prefer.

This is the time to add toppings if you want.

Its finally time to bake it in the oven! Just let them cool off for a little and you're ready to eat.
