Kraft Tuscan Chicken
From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito
This Kraft Tuscan Chicken is a recipe that I’ve been making since 2013.

A former coworker gave it to me years ago when we were discussing easy to make meals. She said it was a must try.
Apparently, she found it right on the Kraft foods website and it was a huge hit with her children and family.
With a recommendation like that, I knew I had to give it a try myself. Wow, was I impressed!

This was just the recipe I needed to knock me out of my recipe rut. It was easy to put together and backed a serious punch of flavor.
It became a quick favorite of mine and a go to recipe for busy weeknights. Thankfully, now that I have my own kids, they love it, too.

So, this recipe has stayed in my back pocket for when I need a quick and easy meal to throw together.
One of my favorite parts about this is that it’s a whole meal in one. No sides needed. You’ve got the protein, vegetables and starch all right there.

Maybe a nice side salad or piece of Homemade Garlic Bread could be a nice addition but that’s really all you need.
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do.

Kraft Tuscan Chicken Variations
I like this chicken dinner recipe made just the way it is but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Chicken- Chicken breast or thighs can both be used for this recipe.
- Dressing- This recipe is best using Kraft Tuscan Italian Dressing but it can sometimes be difficult to find. If you can find the Tuscan dressing, use Robusto Italian Dressing instead.
- Peas- canned or frozen peas can both be used. Just allow some extra cooking time if you’re using frozen.

Instructions
First, season the chicken thighs on both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Now, in a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high heat and cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Once the chicken is browned, set it aside and keep it warm.

Then, add a little more oil to the same skillet and add the potatoes cut side down.

Next, season the potatoes with salt and pepper and stir them around for about 7 minutes or until the potatoes are browned.

Now, stir in the minced garlic, oregano and fresh rosemary.

Next, bring the liquid to a boil, reduce the heat to low and place a lid on top of the skillet.

Then, let everything simmer on low for 10 minutes.
Now, add the chicken back into the skillet (be sure to add any juice/ liquid that ran off of the chicken back into the pan, too).

Next, simmer the chicken on low heat in the sauce for about 5-10 minutes or until chicken is finished cooking all the way through.

Then, remove the chicken and potatoes from the skillet and add them to a serving dish.

Now, add the peas to the remaining liquid in the pan and let them simmer for about 2-4 minutes or until the peas are cooked and plump.

Finally, spoon the sauce and peas over the chicken and potatoes. Serve warm and enjoy!
