These easy to prepare Swedish meatballs are made with delicious homemade meatballs covered in a rich, creamy sauce for the perfect crowd pleasing dinner.

Swedish Meatballs

From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito

These Swedish meatballs are the ultimate comfort food.

With tender, juicy meatballs covered in a creamy, savory sauce served over mashed potatoes they’re sure to be an instant hit no matter what the crowd.

I say crowd, because this recipe makes plenty enough to share.

Swedish meatballs are rolled typically smaller than traditional meatballs so you get a lot of them with this recipe.

But trust me, that won’t be a problem. They will be eaten up before you know.

My family especially loves when I make this for them when the weather gets a little cooler.

There’s nothing better than a hot, stick to your ribs dinner like this on a cold night.

It’s an also super easy to make recipe, too. Everything can be done right in one skillet, too.

I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love them just as much as my family and I do.

Fast. Simple. Delicious.

Did you know that I have a cookbook called Fast Simple Delicious?

Swedish Meatballs Variations

I like this recipe made exactly as it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

  • Meatballs- If you’re in a rush, feel free to make this recipe with premade cocktail meatballs.
  • Breadcrumbs- Panko can be substituted for Italian seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • Serving- serve these delicious meatballs over creamy mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
