This spicy vodka rigatoni was an internet sensation last year.

It seemed to take over my feed on every platform almost over night. Every other video was spicy vodka rigatoni form a different food creator.
I’m late to the game on posting but not on making it. This was a trend that I jumped right on to.
And wow! Then I really got to see what all the fuss was about. This pasta is absolutely delicious.

Regular vodka sauce is a family favorite around here so this was a really nice spin on it.
The sauce is super easy to make and packed with flavor. When I served this to my family and friends they went crazy for it.

It was a huge hit instantly and I’ve made it many times since. Everyone is sure to love it.

Spicy Vodka Rigatoni Variations
I like this recipe made just the way it is but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Pasta- use any kind of pasta that you’d like for this dish. I prefer a tube like pasta but any one will do.
- Spicy- add more hot pepper flakes to add more heat or omit it completely if you’re not a spicy fan.

Spicy Vodka Rigatoni Ingredients

- Onion, diced
- Garlic, minced
- Olive Oil
- Tomato Paste
- Tito’s Vodka
- Heavy Cream
- Parmesan Cheese
- Butter
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder and Italian Seasoning
- Rigatoni Pasta (boiled in salted water and keep a ladle of the pasta water)
Instructions
First, in a large skillet, heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.

Now, lightly season it with salt and add the hot pepper flakes and Italian seasoning.

Then, let them simmer together for about 2 minutes stirring frequently.

Next, add the vodka and turn the heat up to medium high.

Now, stir it into the seasoned onion and garlic and let the vodka gently boil for about 2 minutes.

Then, stir in the tomato paste.

Next, stir in the heavy cream.

Now, season the sauce with salt, black pepper and garlic powder and add the butter. Let it cook for about 5 minutes.

Then, stir in the pasta water and rigatoni pasta.

Now, add the Parmesan cheese and toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce.

Finally, serve warm and enjoy!

- 6 ounces Tomato Paste
- ¼ cup Titos Vodka
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tbs Butter
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 tbs Garlic Powder
- 1 pound Rigatoni Pasta
- 1 ladle Pasta Water
Instructions
