Asian chicken wings are made by marinating chicken wings in soy sauce, brown sugar and just a few other simple ingredients for 48 hours before baking.
Asian Chicken Wings
These Asian chicken wings are loaded with flavor and so easy to make.

I’ve been making these wings since 2012 for almost every football Sunday that we’ve hosted. They get eaten up by everyone so fast that I’ve been doubling the recipe lately.
You don’t need to wait for football season to enjoy them, though. They’re perfect acceptable to eat all year round.

The soy sauce and brown sugar mixed together give these wings such a nice flavor.
However, the marinating process is a long one. Forty Eight hours long to be exact but I promise you, it’s worth every minute.
The marinade really penetrates the meat making each bite incredibly delicious.

No sauce needed for these wings either. They’re just right as they are. You have to try them for yourself to truly understand just how great they are.
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do.

Asian Chicken Wings Variations
I like this recipe for chicken wings made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Chicken- This marinade can be used on chicken thighs or drumsticks, too! Just adjust the cooking times to make sure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165° and is cooked all the way through.
- Ginger- Freshly ground ginger is ok instead of the ginger paste.
- Mustard- Use 1 teaspoon or regular mustard instead of ground, if needed.
Other Easy Chicken Wing Recipes

Asian Chicken Wings Ingredients

- Chicken wings, separated into wings and flats
- Soy Sauce
- Brown Sugar
- Ginger Paste
- Garlic, minced
- Ground Mustard
- Sesame Seeds and Parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
First, in a large bowl, add the chicken wings, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger paste, garlic, and ground mustard.

Then, mix everything together until it’s evenly combined.

Next, cover the bowl and place it into the fridge for 24 hours.

After 24 hours, remove the wings from the fridge and give them a nice big stir.

Now, cover them and place them back into the fridge for another 24 hours.

After that, drain as much of the marinade as possible off the wings and place them on a foil lined baking sheet.

Next, place the wings in the center rack of a 375° preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Then, flip the wings and place them back into the oven for another 20 minutes. Check the wings! If too much marinate is on the pan, the wings may burn. Please keep an eye on them and remove them sooner if needed. As long as the wings reach an internal temperature of 165° they’re good to go!

Now, let them cool slightly, garnish with sesame seeds and parsley (optional) and enjoy!
