This appetizer is made with seasoned ground beef, a blend of four different cheeses, Rotel tomatoes and a secret ingredient for the best Rotel dip, ever.

The Best Rotel Dip

From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito

I’ve had a lot of different versions of this recipe but I can honestly say that this is the best Rotel dip, ever.

Like many of you, I’ve been eating this classic appetizer for years and years. It always hits the spot!

After having so many different versions, I’ve officially landed on this as being the best one.

It’s so creamy, cheesy and smooth. That’s because of the secret ingredient that this one has that many don’t.

One can of evaporated milk. It might sound a little odd at first but this is the way that resultants get their queso to be oh so good.

It’s something small that can be added to make a really big difference.

This is the party appetizer that everyone is going to keep coming back for. It’s perfect for any get together, movie night and of course, it’s not a football Sunday without the Rotel Dip.

I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do.

The Best Rotel Dip Variations

I like this rotel dip recipe made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

  • Meat- Ground chicken or turkey would be ok to use here instead of beef.
  • Spicy- Use a hot can of Rotel and add a can of diced chilis for an extra kick.
  • Cheese- Any kinds of cheese would be ok to use here. Just be sure to shred it yourself because it will melt much better that way.
