Hawaiian BBQ chicken flatbread pizza is such an easy and delicious weekday dinner.

This recipe is a great reminder that sometimes pineapple actually does belong on pizza.
Using the flatbread and rotisserie chicken saves a bunch of prep time and allows me to take a major shortcut.

In the summertime, when the kids are home and the days are long and lazy, the last thing I want to do is cook.

Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza Variations
I like this recipe for BBQ pizza made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Dough- This pizza can be made on any dough or bread that you’d like. Just be sure to adjust cooking times so the dough is cooked all the way through.
- Chicken- Use any kind of cooked cubed or cubed cooked chicken that you’d like.
- Cheese- Feel free to change the cheese up! Just be sure to shred it yourself. It will melt much better that way.

- Flatbread
- BBQ Sauce
- Colby Jack Cheese, hand shredded
- Rotisserie Chicken, shredded or cubed
- Red Onion, thinly sliced
- Pineapple, diced small
- Green Onion, chopped
- Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder
Ingredients
Preheat the oven to 400°
First, spread a thin layer of olive oil on top of the flatbread and place it onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Place the baking sheet into the center rack of the oven for 5 minutes or until it slightly crisps up.

Now, spread a thin layer of BBQ onto the surface of the flatbread.

Next, sprinkle the Colby Jack cheese onto the BBQ sauce.

Then, in a small bowl, toss the cubed chicken in with the salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Now, evenly distribute the chicken on top of the shredded cheese.

Next, sprinkle a little more of the Colby cheese onto top of the chicken.

Then, evenly distribute the sliced red onion onto top of the chicken and cheese.

Now, spread the pineapple chunks out on top.

Then, drizzle the top with a little more BBQ sauce and place it onto the center rack of the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Finally, sprinkle with the green onions. Serve warm and enjoy!

- 1 Rectangular Flatbread
- 1 Tbs Olive Oil
- ½ Cup BBQ Sauce (divided)
- 1 ¼ Cup Colby Jack Cheese, hand shredded
- 1 Cup Rotisserie Chicken, shredded or cubed
- ¼ Cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ Cup Pineapple, diced small
- 2 Tbs Green Onion, chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbs Garlic Powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°
- Spread the olive oil on top of the flatbread and place it onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Place the baking dish into the center rack of the oven for 5 minutes or until it slightly crisps up.
- Spread ¼ cup BBQ onto the surface of the flatbread.
- Sprinkle the 1 Cup Colby Jack cheese onto the BBQ sauce.
- In a small bowl, toss the cubed chicken in with the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Evenly distribute the chicken on top of the shredded cheese.
- Sprinkle ¼ Cup of the cheese onto top of the chicken.
- Evenly distribute the sliced red onion onto top of the chicken and cheese.
