  • Potatoes- The star of the recipe! They cook up crispy on the outside and soft in the center.
  • Olive Oil- Helps the potatoes get crispy and holds the seasoning onto them.
  • Salt and Pepper- Enhances the flavor of all the other ingredients.
  • Garlic Powder- Adds an earthy flavor throughout.
  • Thyme- Adds a warm and savory flavor.
  • Paprika- Adds a deep, nice color to the potatoes.
  • Parsley- Adds a pop of color.
  • Onion Powder- Brings an earthy, deep flavor.

How To Make It

Heres how to make these delicious potatoes. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card below.

Preheat the oven to 400° with the baking sheet in it.

First, add the cut potatoes into a medium sized bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and add the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, thyme, salt and pepper. Toss everything together until the potatoes are evenly coated.

NOTE: Feel free to add any other spices and seasonings that you'd like to here.

Now, carefully remove the preheated baking dish from the oven. Add the potatoes and spread them out evenly on the baking sheet. Place them into the center rack of the oven for about 15 minutes. Then, carefully take the potatoes out of the oven and mix them around in the baking sheet using a spatula.

PRO TIP: The preheated baking dish are whats going to make these potatoes really special. It gives them those nice crispy edges so don't skip that step.

Now, place them back into the oven for another 15 minutes or until all the potatoes are golden brown and crispy. Serve and enjoy!

Can These Be Made In The Air Fryer?

Yes, they absolutely can be! Set the temperature on the air fryer to 380° and the time for 20 minutes. Follow the directions as instructed and place the potatoes into the air fryer basket. Shake the basket half way through the cooking process and you’re done!

What Potatoes Should I Use?

This recipe works on pretty much any kind of potato you can think of. Even sweet potatoes work here. I usually go for Yukon because thats what I prefer but choose whatever you'd like or have on hand.

Can I Peel The Potatoes

Yes, you definitely can. I love how crispy the skin gets but if you'd like to peel them, be my guest. Its all about preference here.

What Should I Serve These With?

This is one of those side dishes that go with just about anything. Serve them at any holiday along side a Glazed Ham or for a casual dinner at home with Crockpot Smothered Chicken Legs and Frozen Roasted Green Beans.

Storage

Let the potatoes cool completely and place them into a food safe air tight container. They will last in the fridge for up to three days.
