Crockpot Beef Stroganoff
From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito
Crockpot beef stroganoff is one of the very first recipes that I’ve ever shared on social media and also happens to be one of my favorites.

I have been making this recipe for my family and friends for well over a decade and it has become a staple in my home.
Especially during the cooler months here in Jersey when I’m really craving a delicious, stick to your ribs meal. This will keep me warm and full for hours.

Crockpots are such a fantastic choice for busy weekday dinners when you just can’t find the time to put a meal on the table. This is literally a dump and go recipe.
It requires very minimal effort and not too many ingredients either. The golden mushroom soup is what really makes this recipe stand out.

It gives it so much flavor that goes perfectly with the stew, meat, and egg noodles. It really just is the best recipe that I have tried for crockpot, beef stroganoff ever.
I’m very confident that if you try this one, it will become a staple in your home too. It’s one of my personal favorites and I’m super excited to share it.

I really hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do.
Crockpot Beef Stroganoff Variations
I like this recipe for crockpot beef stroganoff made just the way it is but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Soup- Campbell’s golden mushroom soup really is the best for this, but if you can’t find that cream of mushroom will be an OK replacement.
- Noddles- Any kind of egg noodles would be great to use here.
- Meat- You can either get stew meat that’s already cubed up or cut a chuck roast into 1- 2 inch pieces if you’d like ?

- Worcestershire Sauce
- Water
- Cream Cheese, cubed and room temperature

Instructions
First, add the stew meat to the crockpot and season it with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Stir it together until the meat is evenly coated.

Now, add the cans of Golden Mushroom Soup.

Then, add the water to the empty cans, give them swirl around to loosen any soup stuck to the sides and add it to the crockpot.

Next, add the chopped onion and Worcestershire sauce.

Now, stir it all together.

Then, place the lid on top and set the crockpot to low 8 hours.

At the 7.5 hour mark, add the cubed cream cheese and stir it. Let it cook with the meat for the last 30 minutes.

Once the 8 hours is up, stir the meat together one last time breaking any large chunks of stew meat down into smaller pieces and smoothing out any clumps of cream cheese.

Finally, garnish with fresh parsley, serve warm and enjoy.
