This easy beef queso dip is such a delicious crowd pleasing appetizer. I love making this dip for game days or big family get togethers where everyone is looking for something to snack on.

Everyone loves it and its always the first thing to go. The ingredients are simple but come together perfectly. This recipe has become one of my most requested game day recipes and once you try it, you'll see for yourself why.

Ingredients

Here's everything you'll need to make this incredible appetizer. You can find the full ingredients list along with measurements and instructions on the recipe card below.

  • Ground Beef- Makes this dip filling and hearty.
  • Taco Seasoning- Seasons the beef perfectly.
  • Velveeta- Melts to the perfect silky, creamy and smooth consistency and binds everything together.
  • Salsa- Brings a slight hint of acidity and just the right amount of vegetables.

How To Make It

Heres how to make this delicious dip. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card below.

First, make the ground beef according to the directions on the back of the taco seasoning packet. Add the Velveeta and stir in over medium heat until melted. Stir in the salsa, let the dip simmer for 5 minutes before serving and enjoy!

What Can I Serve This With?

My go to for this is usually tortilla chips but pretzel chips, crackers or even some veggies like celery sticks would all be great to use.

How Can I Make This Spicy?

Adding some kick to this dip is an easy, and delicious way to go. Use a hot and spicy taco seasoning packet, hot salsa and you can even add a jar of diced green chiles.

Storage

Let the dip cool completely and place it into a food safe air tight container. It will last in the fridge for up to three days.

Notes

You can make this with either a can of Rotel or salsa. I’ve done it both ways and to me, they both taste pretty similar. I like to serve this in a bowl with some sour cream. It’s so delicious and a hit every time.

I guess we're just supposed to guess how much ground beef or am I missing the ratios? I don't see them anywhere
