Easy Cajun Alfredo sauce is made by tossing pasta in a creamy, cheesy sauce that’s favored with Cajun seasoning for bold and zesty kick.

Easy Cajun Alfredo Sauce

From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito

This easy Cajun Alfredo sauce is a simple and delicious meal the whole family will love.

We really like pasta here at my house and eat it as often as we can. My family especially enjoys my Alfredo Sauce over a big bowl of fettuccine.

This recipe is a nice way to serve that same cheesy, savory sauce with just a tiny bit of a kick. Mt whole family eats this, even my kids so it’s not too spicy at all.

Just remember, if you’d like a little more heat, feel free to add some more of that Cajun seasoning. I highly recommend Slap Ya Mama if you haven’t had it yet. It really is good!

This sauce can be served over any pasta that you’d like, too. So be sure to choose your favorite. It’s even delicious over some shrimp and lobster ravioli, too.

Serve this with some homemade garlic bread and you’ve got a dinner you’ll be making again and again.

I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much and my family and I do.

Easy Cajun Alfredo Variations

I like this recipe made just the way it is but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

  • Pasta- Any kind of pasta would be ok to use.
  • Cajun Seasoning- Any brand of Cajun seasoning would work but Slap Ya Mama is my favorite. You can click HERE to buy some!
  • Protein- Add some cooked shrimp, chicken or even steak for some extra protein and texture.

Easy Cajun Alfredo Sauce Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Minced Garlic
  • Diced Onion
  • Vegetable Stock
  • Heavy Cream
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Softened Cream Cheese
  • Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Cajun Seasoning (I recommend Slap Ya Mama)
  • Cooked Spaghetti or linguine

Instructions

First, in a large skillet melt the butter and sauté the chopped onion and garlic until soft.

Now, slowly pour in the vegetable broth.

Then, slowly pour in the heavy cream. I like to microwave it for about 15-20 seconds to take the chill off first.

Next, season the sauce with salt, pepper, garlic powder and (Slap ya Mama) Cajun seasoning.

Now, stir the seasoning into the sauce and let it simmer on low for about 5 minutes stirring occasionally.

Then, stir in the Parmesan cheese.

Next, add the fresh parsley and cream cheese and whisk it into the sauce until it melts into it.

Now, taste and re season the sauce (if needed) and add the cooked pasta.

Finally, toss the pasta into the sauce until it’s evenly coated, serve warm and enjoy!
