It doesn’t get any easier then this 3 ingredient Texas Toast Pizza. Ready in under 15 minutes and incredibly delicious, too. It’s the perfect meal to make when you just need to throw something together. I think my kids secretly hope I lose track of the day just so they can request this.

This is a family favorite recipe around here for sure. I make this as a quick snack all the time, too. I mean, Texas Toast Pizza does make a lot of sense when you think about it. We all love pizza and to make it on top of some thick buttery garlic bread just brings it to the next level.

Ingredients

Heres what you'll need to make these delicious pizzas. You can find the full ingredients list along with measurements and instructions on the recipe card below.

  • Texas Toast - The star of the recipe! Its thick, garlicy and butter and the perfect base for this pizza.
  • Tomato Sauce- Adds just the right amount of acidity and adds the traditional pizza flavors.
  • Mozzarella Cheese- Mild when melted and the perfect pairing to the sauce and garlic bread.
  • Dried Parsley - An optional garnish that adds a pop of color.

How To Make It

Heres how to make this delicious meal. You can find the full ingredients list and instructions on the recipe card below.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Place the Texas toast slices down on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and cook it for 2 minutes under the recommended time on the package. Add 2 Tbs of sauce to the top of the toast. Followed by the shredded cheese and pepperoni (optional).

PRO TIP: Be sure to hand shred the mozzarella cheese yourself. It will melt much better that way.

Place it back into the center rack of the oven for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Let it rest for 3-5 minutes, garnish with parsley (optional) and enjoy.

PRO TIP: Let the pizzas rest for the cheese and sauce to firm and settle. It will be easier to eat that way.
