This layered taco dip is truly the best appetizer for any occasion.

Talk about a smash hit! This recipe is a no brainer for when I have to bring something to a get together.
Tacos are always a crowd favorite and this dip has all the delicious flavors of them.
I especially love this recipe because you can add your own favorite toppings like shredded lettuce, tomatoes, olives or whatever else you can think of.

This was my go to appetizer recipe for years. It was always a huge hit and I knew that anyone who liked tacos would just love it.
Not to mention, its delicious and super easy to make, too.

I can’t even count how many football Sunday’s and family parties that I’ve made this for.
At one point, I had made this dip so much that I needed a break and started serving my Sunday Funday and Touchdown dip instead.

No matter how many other easy dip recipe phases that I go through, I always make my way back to this one.
I hope you give this recipe a try. I know if you do you’ll love it just as much as my family and friends do. ?

Layered Taco Dip Variations
I like this dip recipe made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Meat- ground beef, chicken, or turkey can all be used in this recipe.
- Cheese- feel free to use any kind of cheese that you would like. Just be sure to make sure you shred the cheese yourself because it will melt much better that way.
- Spicy-if you’d like to add a little spice to this dish, try using a hot and spicy taco packet, adding green chilies or using a spicier cheese like pepper jack.
- Layers-more layers can be added to this dish, such as beans, green chilies, sour cream, or whatever else you’d like.
- Toppings- any toppings that you put on tacos would be a great addition to this dip.
