3 ingredient blueberry cobbler

You won’t believe what gem of a recipe this 3 ingredient blueberry cobbler is. Even if you don’t have a baker's bone in your body, you can easily make this as a dessert, breakfast or snack. Any kind of baking for me needs to be fast, simple, and delicious. Luckily this blueberry cobbler hits all three marks.

Major shortcuts will be taken to achieve the full blueberry cobbler experience in a fraction of the time. Boxed cake mix and canned blueberry pie filling are the huge time-savers in this recipe. I absolutely love when I can make something delicious that looks and tastes like it took a long time to put together

Ingredients

Heres everything you'll need to make this delicious blueberry cobbler. You can find the full ingredients list along with measurement and instructions on the recipe card below.

  • Yellow Cake Mix- The perfect base that compliments the blueberry pie filling beautifully.
  • Blueberry Pie Filling- Adds the sweet, blueberry filling in a super convenient way.
  • Butter- Adds a rich, buttery top layer to the cobbler crust.

How To Make It

Heres how to make this delicious cobbler. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card below.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

First, spray a 9 x 13 inch cake pan with cooking spray and sprinkle half of the cake mix to the bottom of the pan. Spread out evenly. Now, spoon the blueberry pie filling over the cake mix and carefully spread it around.

NOTE: Be gentle spreading the pie filling over the cake mix and try not to disturb it too much.

Then, place the rest of the cake mix evenly on the top of the pie filling. Using a cheese grater, grate the butter and sprinkle that evenly on top of the cake mix. Place it into the center rack of the oven for about 40 minutes or until the cobbler is gold and bubbly. Let is rest for 10 minutes, serve and enjoy.

PRO TIP: Place the butter in the freezer for 20 minutes to make it easier to grate.

PRO TIP: Let the cobbler cool so the filling and cake mix can firm up and settle. This will make it easier to serve.

What Should I Serve This With?

Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or cool whip would all be delicious.

Can I Use Another Pie Filling?

Yes, you absolutely can use another pie filling. Apple, cherry or apple would all be great choices.

Storage

Let the cobbler cool completely and place it into an air tight food safe container. It will last in the fridge for up to three days.

It turned out good with just one can of pie filling! Instead of white cake mix I used lemon so it was a lemon blueberry crumble cake. Thank you!
