This cheesy sausage bread is such a great recipe to serve to a crowd. Everyone loves this recipes wherever I make it. I love seeing the look on people’s faces when they try it for the first time. It’s almost like they don’t expect it to be so savory and delicious. The flavor combination is so good!
If you like sausage balls, you’ll love this! It’s basically the same recipe baked in a loaf pan for a bigger portion. Cant beat that!

- Oil
- Bisquick
- Cheddar Cheese
- Egg
- Onion
- Salt and Pepper
- Milk
- Parmesan Cheese
- Mayonnaise
- Garlic Powder

How To Make It
Heres how to make this amazing appetizer. You can find the full ingredients list along with instruction on the recipe card below.
Preheat the oven to 350°
First, add oil to a large skillet and brown the sausage and onion over medium high heat. Lightly season with salt and pepper and let it cool. In a large bowl add the Bisquick, shredded cheese, Parmesan, milk, mayonnaise, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder and the cooked sausage and onions. Stir everything together until it’s evenly combined.

Then, spray a loaf pan with cooking spray and place the sausage bread mixture inside. Spread it evenly into the pan. Place it into the center rack of the oven for 50 minutes. Let it cool in the loaf pan for about 10 minutes. Remove the sausage bread from the loaf pan, slice and serve warm.

Yes, you can absolutely make this recipe ahead of time. Just assemble the ingredients for the bread, cover and place it into the refrigerator until you're ready to make it.
What Kinda Of Sausage Should I Use?
I used sweet Italian sausage for this recipe but spicy Italian sausage or breakfast sausage would work, too.
