muffin tin banana cream pies

Muffin tin banana cream pies are right up my alley. They’re no bake, make ahead, take minimal effort and are absolutely delicious. They are also super cute. I mean anything made in a muffin tin has gotta be, right? It’s no secret that I’m not an awesome baker. That’s why I rarely share dessert recipes. When I do, they have to be fool proof.

That’s mainly because if there’s a way to mess them up I will find it. I’ve made a banana cream pie before but this was my first time making little mini versions of them. I couldn't have been happier with how they turned out. What a hit! Everyone just loved them and I hope you will, too.

Ingredients

Heres everything you'll need to make this delicious dessert. You can find the full ingredients list along with measurements and instructions on the recipe card below.

  • Heavy Duty Muffin Tin Liners- You'll need these to support the weight of the cream pies.
  • Instant Banana Cream Pudding Mix- Makes making the filling an easy and effortless process.
  • Milk- Activates the instant pudding.
  • Bananas- Adds texture and compliments the banana pudding filling.
  • Golden Oreos- The perfect and convenient crust.
  • Whipped Cream- An optional garnish that makes these look and feel like mini banana cream pies.
  • Mini Nilla Wafers-An optional garnish that adds a crunchy texture to compliment the soft pudding inside.

How To Make It

Heres how to make these mini banana cream pies. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card below.

Line the muffin tin with one liner in each hole. Place a Golden Oreo onto the bottom and a slice of banana on top.

Make the pudding as directed on the package and once its ready, scoop it over the Oreo and banana slice until it reaches the top. Place them in the fridge for at least 2 hours to firm and settle.

Can These Be Made Ahead Of Time?

Yes, they can be made up to 24 hours ahead. Just don’t add the whipped cream and Nilla wafer until you’re ready to serve them.

Can I Use A Different Pudding Flavor?

Sure, you can. Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry or any other flavor that would compliment the banana would be great to use.

Storage

Place the cream pies into a food safe air tight container and they will last in the fridge for up to three days.
