- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium high heat and add the chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté them with a little salt and pepper for 5 minutes. Add the ground beef and break it into small pieces while browning. Drain the excess fat if needed. Add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Season it with salt, pepper and garlic powder and stir everything together. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.

- Bake the Texas Toast for 5-6 minutes. Carefully push down the center of each piece using the back of a spoon. Evenly distribute the sloppy Joe filling into the center of each piece.Top each one with the shredded cheddar cheese and place them a preheated oven. - 2 Tbs Ketchup
- 2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce

- 2 Tbs Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbs Garlic Powder
Instructions
