How great is this crispy oven baked bacon going to sound once I tell you that it’s pretty much mess free?

That’s right. There will be no grease splattering across your stove for you to clean up afterwards.
How amazing is that?

Its just one of the reasons that I love this unique method so much.
Not only is this pretty much mess free but it’s also perfect for your busy mornings.

There is no babysitting the stove here and worrying about flipping the bacon.
You just load up the baking sheet, pop it into the oven and let it do its job.

This frees up a bunch of time to do whatever else you need to finish getting breakfast together.
And the bacon looks so pretty, too!
It doesn’t curl up and holds it’s nice long shape very well.

I just love doing it this way so much.
I know if you give it a try that you’ll love it, too.

What bacon should I use?
Probably the greatest thing about this method is that it works for every kind of bacon.
So use whatever time you’d like.

But if you choose a thick cut bacon, you may need to add an extra minute or two to the cooking time. Just keep your eye on it.
And also, I’ve noticed some bacon brands that add a Maple element to their bacon, have a tendency to burn faster.

I’d recommend taking a minute or two off of the cooking time that I suggest and also just keeping an eye on that also.
Do I have to use parchment paper?
No, you do not have to use parchment paper at all.
If parchment paper isn’t your thing, you’re more than welcome to use aluminum foil to line your baking sheet or place it on a wire rack.

We’re not using anything at all is an option.
I just like lighting my baking sheet with some thing because it makes clean up way easier like that.

I can just pull off whatever I lined baking sheet with and throw it right into the trash.
But if a little cleanup doesn’t bother you feel free to just leave the baking sheet unlined.
What can I serve this crispy oven baked bacon with?
Bacon is the perfect side to any breakfast. So serve this with whatever you’d like.

It’s great alongside breakfast sandwiches, breakfast/ brunch casseroles, muffins, pancakes, waffles, and any kind of brunch food, too.
But if you’re looking for some specific recipes, here are a few that I think you’d love.
