- Eggs - Help create a rich custard that holds everything together.
- Milk - Combines with the eggs to make the cinnamon rolls soft and almost bread pudding-like.

How To Make It
Heres how to make this amazing breakfast. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card below.
Preheat the oven to 350°
- Open both cans of cinnamon rolls and set the icing aside for later. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and spread the pieces evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the blueberries evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.

- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until smooth. Slowly pour the custard mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls and blueberries, making sure everything is coated. Let the casserole sit for about 5 minutes so the cinnamon rolls can absorb some of the custard.

- Place it into the center rack of the oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the center is fully set and the cinnamon rolls are cooked through. If the top begins browning too quickly, loosely tent it with foil during the last 10 minutes. Allow the casserole to cool for 5-10 minutes before drizzling the reserved icing over the top.

Pro Tips
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into evenly sized pieces so they bake uniformly.
- Pat the blueberries dry before adding them to prevent excess moisture.
- Let the casserole rest before icing so the glaze stays nice and visible.
- Check the center with a knife before removing it from the oven. It should come out mostly clean with no raw custard remaining.
- Warm the icing in the microwave for about 5-10 seconds if you'd like it to drizzle more easily.
Variations
- Add fresh lemon zest for a bright lemon-blueberry flavor.
- Swap the blueberries for strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts over the top before baking.
- Add small cubes of cream cheese throughout the casserole for an extra creamy bite.
- Finish with powdered sugar instead of the icing for a different presentation.
What To Serve This With
This casserole pairs perfectly with Crispy Bacon, breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, or a simple fruit salad to balance the sweetness. If you're serving it for brunch, add coffee, mimosas, or fresh orange juice for an easy meal everyone will love.
Storage & Reheating
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat individual servings in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds until warmed through. You can also cover the baking dish with foil and warm it in a 325°F oven until heated through. While it's best served fresh, leftovers are still delicious the next morning.

Be sure to grease the baking dish, to avoid any sticking.
For a half-batch, I used a 6 x 10 inch baking dish, baking for 35 minutes. It was perfect for two people, with some fresh blueberries on the side.

The blueberry casserole looks delicious. I have a huge container of dried cranberries. I’m going to rehydrate them and use them in this recipe. Thanks for posting. I’ll bake at 350.
