Ingredients
Heres how to make these delicious danishes. You can find the full ingredients list along with measurements and instructions on the recipe card below.
- Crescent Rolls- The short cut ingredient for this recipe. The flakey, buttery dough acts as the perfect base.
- Cherry Pie Filling- Adds a sweet and mildly tart bust of fruit flavor.
- Powdered Sugar- Sweetens the danish filling smoothly.
- Cream Cheese- The creamy, foundation for the filling.
How To Make It
Heres how to make these cherry danishes. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card below.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
First, take the pillsbury crescent rolls out of the container and DO NOT unroll them. Keep in in one big log and slice them into about ½ inch rounds. Place them onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Now, using your fingers, make a dip in the center. Keep the edges tall so the fillings will stay inside. In a small bow, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until they are evenly combined. Add about a tablespoon and a half into the center of the crescent roll round. Top the cream cheese with 1 tbs of cherry pie filling.

Place them in the center rack of the oven for 12-15 minutes or until the dough is lightly golden brown.Let them cool slightly, serve warm and enjoy!

Can I Use A Different Flavor Pie Filling?
Yes, you absolutely can. Blueberry, lemon, strawberry and apple are all great choices so feel free to experiment.
Storage
Let danishes cool completely and place them into an air tight container. They will last in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Hi Paul. Thank you so much for giving me a try and taking the time out to come back and leave such a nice review. I’m so glad that you enjoyed them.

Just made them and they are fantastic. The only change I made was that I bought the Pillsbury butter and honey flavored crescent rolls. I thought the butter and honey flavor would be nice with the cherry and cream cheese topping, and it did not disappoint. These would be a great treat for the kids when they got home after school. The powdered sugar made such a delicious addition to the cream cheese. This is probably one of the easiest recipes that I have tried to end up being so good. Thanks for sharing it with us.
