This Italian combo pasta salad is a delicious, easy to make side dish that everyone is sure to love.

Summer is right around the corner and so are all those awesome summer BBQ’s and get togethers. Good thing I've got just the dish for you to bring to the party.
We love pasta salad around here and I’m always looking for new and exciting ways to serve it. This recipe hit the spot.

No one does Italian combo sandwiches better than Jersey. Being Bergen County born and raised, I know a thing or two about the best ways to make them.
I think that’s why I love this salad so much. It’s got two of my favorite things combined into one delicious recipe.

The best part of this is that it’s completely customizable. Whatever you’d add or take out of your sandwich order can be applied here, too.
Make this as a side dish for sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers and just about anything you can toss on the grill. It goes with it all.

Italian Combo Pasta Salad Variations
I like this pasta salad recipe made just the way it is, but here are some way to change it up if you’d like to.

- Pasta- Any small sized pasta would work for this recipe.
- Cheese- Swap out the mozzarella pearls for provolone cheese or do a combination of both.
- Add Ins- shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and olives would all be great to add for extra texture and flavors.

- Cooked Bow Tie Pasta
- Salami, diced
- Pepperoni, diced
- Ham, diced
- Red Onion, diced
- Mozzarella Pearls
- Banana Peppers, sliced
- Olive Oil
- Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Mayonnaise
- Red Wine Vinegar
- Salt, Black Pepper, Italian Seasoning, Red Pepper Flakes, Garlic Powder & Onion Powder
Instructions
First, in a large bowl, add the cooked pasta, chopped salami, ham, pepperoni, mozzarella pearls, red onion and banana peppers.

Now, drizzle the top with olive oil and toss everything together.

Next, grate the fresh Parmesan cheese on top.

Then, season it with black pepper and Italian seasoning.

Next, stir it into the pasta.

Now, in a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper.

Next, pour the dressing over the pasta.

Then, stir the dressing into the pasta until it’s evenly coated.

Finally, add fresh parsley for garnish (optional) and enjoy.

Ingredients
- 1 Pound Bow Tie Pasta, cooked in salted water and cooled
- ½-3/4 Cup Salami, diced
- ½-3/4 Cup Pepperoni, diced
- ½-3/4 Cup Ham, diced
- 8 Oz Fresh Mozzarella Pearls, drained from liquid
- ¼ Cup Red Onion, diced
- ½ Cup Banana Peppers, sliced
- 2 Tbs Olive Oil
- 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
- Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbs Italian Seasoning
For The Dressing
- 1 ¼ Cup Mayonnaise
- 3 Tbs Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 Tbs Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbs Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 Tbs Italian Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add the cooked and cooled pasta, chopped salami, ham, pepperoni, mozzarella pearls, red onion and banana peppers.
- Drizzle the top with olive oil and toss everything together.
- Add the Parmesan cheese, black pepper and Italian seasoning. Stir it all together.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ingredients for the dressing and pour it over the pasta salad.
- Finally, toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the dressing. Garnish with fresh parsley (optional) and enjoy.

I think this salad may become a summer staple in our house. It's delicious and good "fresh"/room temperature or after marinating in the fridge. Only change was I added some diced cherry tomatoes, just because I had them on hand.
