This sausage gravy and biscuits recipe is so simple and absolutely delicious. This is one of my families favorite breakfasts that I make it for almost every special occasion. It’s very highly requested around here. Its nice to have something savory for breakfast that just hit the spot every single time.
You don’t need to wait for a special occasion though. As a matter of fact, I recommend making this as soon as possible. I know that you’re going to love it just as much as my family and I do.

- Pork Breakfast Sausage
- Butter
- Flour
- Milk
- Salt & Pepper
- Worcestershire Sauce
How To Make It

1. First, make the biscuits according to the directions on the back of the package and set them aside when done. In a large skillet, brown the sausage and break it into small pieces over medium high heat as it cooks. Stir in the butter until it melts and add the flour. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes.
PRO TIP: Be sure to let the flour cook for the whole time to remove the raw flour taste.

2. Now, Slowly stir in the milk and then turn the heat down to low. Generously season with salt and pepper and stir in the Worcestershire sauce. Split open the biscuits and spoon the sausage gravy on top. Serve warm and enjoy!
PRO TIP: Taste the gravy and re season if needed. This can be bland if enough salt and pepper isn't added.

The best option here would be a bulk pork sausage like Jimmy Dean.
What Should I Serve This With?
These can be served alone or with fruit, eggs or some crispy bacon on the side.
Storage
Let the gravy cool completely and place it into a food safe air tight container. It will last in the refrigerator for up to three days.

- ½ Stick Butter
- ⅓ Cup Flour
- 2.5 Cup Milk
- 2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
- Salt and Pepper to taste
