How To Make It
Here's everything you'll need to make this amazing marinade. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card below.
First, add the steak to a food safe storage container. Add the brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, fresh lemon juice, garlic powder, fresh garlic, olive oil and black pepper. Rub it all evenly into the steak.

Then, place it in the refrigerator, covered, to marinate for 2-24 hours. Drain the marinade from the steak and cook as desired. Enjoy!

PRO TIP: Pat the steak dry from the marinade to get a really nice sear.
How Long Should I Marinate The Steak?
Anywhere from 2-24 hours works but overnight is ideal. The longer, the better but not exceed 24 hours or it will break the steak down too much.
Can I Use Other Cuts Of Beef?
Yes you can use other cuts of steak. Flank, round or hanger steak would all work very well here, too.

I wouldn’t necessary say it’s better just very different. I prefer a very basic seasoning on other cuts of beef too. This was definitely more involved.
