If you’re looking for a delicious and easy week day dinner this one pot creamy broccoli pasta is it!
I’m not kidding when I tell you that this recipe is guaranteed to secure a permanent spot in your dinner time rotation.
The flavors of the cream sauce along with the broccoli and pasta are absolutely incredible together. Every time I make this for family and friends I get so many compliments on it.
Also, it’s all made in one pot. So theres no need to boil the pasta separately for this one. It just doesn’t get any easier than that.
Did I mention that this pasta has broccoli in it, too? I only bring it up because my kids seem to act like its not even there. This is one time I dont get any push back when serving them vegetables.
I guess they’re easier to eat when they’re covered in a delicious cream sauce.
This is one of my favorite pasta recipes of all time to not only eat but to make, too.
I know that if you give this recipe a try, you’re going to love it just as much as my family and I do.

One pot creamy broccoli pasta variations
This recipe is wonderful as it is but here are some options that you could apply here if you’d like to below.
- Broccoli- Frozen broccoli can be used here instead of fresh. Just be sure to thaw them first.
- Pasta- Instead of medium sized shells you can use whatever tube like pasta that you’d like.
- Add ons- if you’d like to add any additional vegetables like cooked mushrooms you absolutely can. Some shredded chicken or cooked shrimp would work great in this recipe, too.

Got really excited about this but it was short lived when chicken broth and parmesan cheese was used. Being a veggie, I’d have to make lots of changes just to make this work which is fine, but gutting as the picture makes it look like a veggie friendly meal.

I’m sorry if you got that impression from the photo that it was vegetarian. Swap out the chicken broth for veggie and use vegetarian Parmesan and you’re all set.
