Pasta Al Forno
From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito
This is my version of pasta al forno and it’s pretty amazing if I do say so myself.

I needed something to make to send my husband, father, brothers and friends to upstate NY for a boys weekend and this recipe popped into my head right away.
It’s always a guaranteed hit and super easy to make, too. Especially if you’re using jarred sauces.

The dish was an absolute hit! They guys all loved it and ate the whole tray up.
This is a truly unique baked pasta dish made with a blend of sauces, cheeses and a delicious breadcrumb and garlic topping.

The first time I made this, my kids said it was their favorite pasta dish that I’ve ever served them. That’s saying a lot since we eat a ton of pasta in my house.
This pasta dish has been served at my house for everything from family parties, holidays or casual dinners at home.
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do.

Pasta Al Forno Variations
I like this recipe for pasta al forno make just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Pasta- Use any kind of pasta that you prefer for this recipe.
- Marinara- Use a homemade tomato sauce or jarred if you prefer.
- Alfredo- Use homemade Alfredo or a béchamel sauce if you’d prefer for this recipe. If you’re going to use a jarred alfredo, I recommend Raoes. It’s pricy but the only jarred Alfredo sauce that’s good, in my opinion.
