How to Make It
- Lightly grease the inside of the crockpot with cooking spray. Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of the crockpot. Add the carrots, celery, garlic and onion. Season everything with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, rosemary and thyme. Add the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth.

- Stir everything together and gently press the chicken breasts down so they are submerged in the liquid as much as possible. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender. Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir everything together.

- Add the heavy cream and stir to combine. Gently stir in the cooked egg noodles, garnish with parsley (optional) and enjoy!

Pro Tips
- Cut the carrots and celery into similar sized pieces so they cook evenly.
- Try to keep the chicken breasts submerged in the liquid as much as possible while they cook.
- The sauce will continue to thicken as the chicken and noodles sit.
- Taste the dish before serving and adjust the salt and pepper if needed.
Variations
- Add Peas: Stir frozen peas into the crockpot toward the end for another easy vegetable.
- Make It Extra Creamy: Add a little more heavy cream at the end if youād like an even richer sauce.
- Use Chicken Thighs: Boneless, skinless chicken thighs can be substituted for chicken breasts for an even richer chicken flavor.
- Add Parmesan: Stir in some freshly grated Parmesan cheese at the end for a cheesy twist.
- Change the Herbs: Poultry seasoning can be used in place of the rosemary and thyme for a slightly different flavor.
What to Serve With This
This is a pretty hearty meal all on its own, especially with the chicken, vegetables and noodles. If youād like to serve something alongside it, try Homemade Garlic Bread, a side salad, roasted broccoli or green beans.
Storage and Reheating
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3ā4 days.
The noodles will continue soaking up the creamy sauce as they sit, so the leftovers will likely be thicker the next day. Add a splash of chicken broth or heavy cream before reheating to loosen everything back up.
Reheat individual portions in the microwave or warm everything slowly on the stovetop until heated through.
