There’s not much more I can say about these cheese stuffed bread sticks besides you absolutely need to make them.

You just gotta trust me on this one!

They’re incredibly delicious and super easy to make.

You don’t even need many more ingredients beyond a can of Pillsbury crescent rolls and a package of string cheese.

The concept is brilliant- wrap some dough around the string cheese and bake it in garlic butter.

Now imagine that being dunked into some warm marinara sauce.

How could anyone possibly resist that?

When I make this recipe for my family they devoured them.

I know you’re going to love this one if you give it a try. It’s kind of impossible not to.

Do I have to use crescent rolls?

I used crescent rolls for this recipe but you don’t necessarily have to.

Pizza dough would work here also. It won’t be as flakey and buttery but it will work.

Biscuit dough would work, too. Expect those to puff up and rise a little more when baking.

If you have a homemade dough recipe you’d like to us, go for it!

Just swap out whatever dough you’d like and continue to follow the rest of the recipe.

Do I have to use mozzarella cheese sticks?

Absolutely not.

I did for this recipe but use whatever you’d like.

There are a bunch of different variety of cheese sticks out there.

I’d you’d like to switch it up and try some pepper jack or Colby be my guest.

Instructions:

First, open the crescent rolls and separate the triangles.

Now open the string cheese and add the whole thing to the longest side of the crescent roll.

Then wrap the dough around the cheese stick.

Try to be sure to seal the edges as much as you can so all the cheese doesn’t pour out when it’s being baked.

Next add them to a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Keep in mind they will expand so leave some room in between them.

Pop them in the fridge for about 15 minutes before baking.

In the meantime, grab a small bowl and melt the butter and stir in all of the seasoning.

How much of the seasoning for the butter. And am I able to print this recipe? I love all your recipes but don’t wanna touch my phone once I get started 😊

Hi! Thank you so much. I don’t give seasoning measurements because people are often very sensitive to it. I’d say add a little at a time until you get the perfect amount. Yes! They are printable. Hope you like it 😊
